SeminaryAction Program
+Check out our History and our Links pages on the left!
Whether you're new to seminary, or just new to us, we hope you enjoy our website and want to get involved in our programs. Three goals shape the work of our organization:
+Building relationships among new religious leaders, across faith and campus lines;
+Connecting seminarians with the world beyond their campus --in the neighborhood, locally, nationally, and globally;
+Supporting students’ efforts to improve the quality of community life within the seminaries, so theological education becomes a healthy, positive experience for everyone.
Partnerships:
We affirm and promote the work of organizations such as SCUPE (Seminary Consortium for Urban Pastoral Education), Interfaith Worker Justice and its Seminary Summer program, Interfaith Youth Core, and the Urban CPE Consortium. We welcome and will provide whatever assistance possible to seminarians in other locations who would like to form similar initiatives.
SeminaryAction welcomes participation from all students and does not discriminate against individuals on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, age, veteran status, ancestry, or national or ethnic origin.
